Show your ticket and QR code at the entrance

Each ticket carries a personal QR code. At the entrance, the check-in agent scans it: the first scan is accepted, any later scan is refused. The QR code contains no personal data; it is only used to find your ticket in our system.

Before you leave

  • Open your ticket from My tickets and check the date, time and venue.
  • Download the PDF or keep the ticket open on your phone: the mobile network is sometimes overloaded around venues.
  • Bring a photo ID if the event has a minimum age.

At the check

The agent scans your QR code with the ShotEvents access control tool. The result appears immediately: accepted, already used, or refused (for example, for another event or a refunded ticket).

“Already used” or refused ticket

The message “This ticket has already been used for this entry.” means that this QR code was scanned before you, for example after the ticket was copied. Speak to the organizer's team on site: they can check the entry history. A ticket transferred to someone else is no longer valid for you: its QR code has been renewed.

Frequently asked questions

Does the QR code contain my personal data?
No. It contains an opaque identifier, with no name or email address.
Can I get in with a screenshot?
Yes, as long as the ticket is valid and has not been transferred, but only the first scan is accepted.
