Cookie policy
Translation provided for information only; the French version prevails. This document must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. No legal review has been recorded yet.
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. This page lists the cookies that ShotEvents uses and explains how to manage your choices.
1.Your choices
On your first visit, a banner offers you “Accept all”, “Reject all” or “Customize”, with equal prominence. Refusing is as easy as accepting. No non-essential cookie is placed or read before you make your choice. Accepting the terms and conditions is not the same as accepting cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it, with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
Your choice (acceptance or refusal) is remembered for 6 months, after which the banner is shown to you again. We keep proof of your choice (date, banner version, categories).
2.Essential cookies (no consent required)
These cookies are necessary for the service you have requested to work and do not require your consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| se_session | Keeping you signed in (secure cookie, not accessible to scripts) | 30 days at most |
| se_consent | Remembering your cookie choices | 6 months |
| [to be verified: name of the order tracking cookie without an account] | Allowing a buyer without an account to view their order from the same browser | 6 months |
3.Audience measurement, personalization and advertising
The banner provides two optional categories: audience measurement, and personalization / advertising. As of the date of this version, ShotEvents has not installed any tracker in these categories for its own purposes. If we add one, it will be loaded only after you consent, this page will be updated before it is activated, and the cookies concerned will be listed here. An audience measurement tool is exempt from consent only if it strictly meets the conditions set by the CNIL (the French data protection authority): purpose limited to audience measurement, anonymous statistics, no cross-referencing, limited cookie lifetime; otherwise, it will require your consent.
Organizers' tracking pixels. An organizer may enable third-party measurement or advertising tools (Meta, TikTok, Google) on its event or profile page. These tools, which place their own cookies, are loaded only after you consent to the corresponding category in the banner. In that case, the organizer and ShotEvents are joint controllers of the collection carried out through these tools. The list of tools active on a page is shown under “Customize”. If you refuse, they are not loaded.
4.Content from third-party services
Pages that include a map load the map backgrounds from OpenStreetMap's servers. Your IP address is then sent to them, as with any image loaded from a server. No advertising cookie is used in this process. Fonts are served by ShotEvents.
At payment, you are redirected to Stripe's secure page, which places its own cookies necessary for payment security and fraud prevention, in accordance with its cookie policy (new tab).
5.How can you manage cookies?
- With the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page, for ShotEvents' cookies and organizers' tools.
- In your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies prevents you from signing in and placing orders.
To find out more about your rights, see the CNIL website: www.cnil.fr/cookies (new tab).
6.Personal data
The processing of the data collected is described in the privacy policy.
