4.Role of the Platform
ShotEvents is an online ticketing platform. Events are offered by independent organizers, who are solely responsible for them (content, program, prices, running of the event, cancellation). The seller of the ticket is the organizer, whose identity is shown on the event page. ShotEvents acts in the name and on behalf of the organizer to present the offer, collect the price, and issue and check the tickets. ShotEvents invoices its own service fees. The terms of sale describe this relationship in detail.
The Platform puts buyers in touch with professional and non-professional organizers. Whether the organizer is a business or not is stated on the event page. Consumer rights (in particular the legal guarantee) apply only to contracts concluded with a business.
5.Event organizers: live performance entrepreneurs
Where an event is a live performance, the organizer states its receipt number as a live performance entrepreneur (Articles L. 7122-1 et seq. of the French Labor Code), or its exemption status. This information appears on the organizer's page and on the tickets. ShotEvents checks this number before sales open.
6.Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, every consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator, free of charge, to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute, after a prior written complaint that has not been satisfactorily answered.
- Mediator: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice)
- Website: https://www.cm2c.net
- Postal address: 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France
The mediator is competent for disputes with ShotEvents (service fees, order). For disputes relating to the event itself, the professional organizer states its own mediation scheme on the event page.
7.Point of contact (Digital Services Act)
The single point of contact for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, as well as for users, is: contact@shotevents.fr. The languages that can be used are French and English.
8.Intellectual property
The brand, logo, graphic identity, texts, components and code of the Platform are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited, except where the law provides otherwise.
The visuals, descriptions and trademarks of events belong to the organizers or their rights holders, who warrant to ShotEvents that they hold the rights necessary to publish them.
9.Reporting unlawful content
Anyone who finds content that is unlawful or that infringes their rights may report it through the contact form, stating:
- their identity (surname, first name, address, email);
- the exact address (URL) of the content concerned;
- a description of the facts and the grounds on which the content is unlawful, with reference to the applicable legal provisions;
- a sufficiently substantiated explanation and a statement of good faith as to the accuracy of the information.
ShotEvents acknowledges receipt, examines the report diligently and informs the author of its decision and of the means of redress. Any abusive or bad-faith notification exposes its author to the penalties provided by law.
10.Personal data and cookies
The processing of your personal data is described in the privacy policy and the use of cookies in the cookie policy. To exercise your rights: contact@shotevents.fr.
11.Translations
French is the authoritative language. Versions in other languages are provided for information; in the event of a discrepancy, the French version prevails, without depriving consumers of the mandatory rights granted to them by the law of their country of residence.
12.Links and liability
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (organizers' websites, mapping services). ShotEvents has no control over these websites and accepts no liability for their content. The publisher endeavors to ensure that the information published is accurate but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors; information specific to an event is the responsibility of the organizer.
13.Governing law
This website is governed by French law. For disputes with a consumer, the statutory rules on territorial jurisdiction apply.
