My tickets

Transfer a ticket to someone you know

When the organizer allows transfers, you can send an unused ticket to someone you know from “My tickets”. The recipient must confirm their email address, the QR code is then renewed and the old one stops working. A transfer is not a resale.

Conditions

  • The organizer has allowed transfers for this event (this is shown on the event page).
  • The ticket has not been scanned yet and the event is not over.
  • The recipient has a valid email address.

How to do it

  1. Open the ticket in My tickets and go to the “Transfer this ticket” section.
  2. Enter the recipient's email address and send the invitation. The ticket remains yours, and your QR code remains valid, until the transfer is accepted.
  3. The recipient receives a link valid for 48 hours. They sign in (or create an account) with that same email address and accept the transfer: the ticket then appears in their account. You can cancel the invitation as long as it has not been accepted.

Once the transfer is complete, the previous QR code is revoked: a screenshot of the old ticket will no longer get you in.

Transfer and resale

A transfer is for giving or sharing a ticket with someone you know. Reselling tickets on a regular basis without the organizer's consent is prohibited by law (Article 313-6-2 of the French Criminal Code). ShotEvents does not offer open resale. When the organizer allows it, a ticket can be put back on sale from My resales, at a price capped by the organizer: the seller's QR code is then deactivated and a new ticket is issued to the buyer.
