Cancellation and refunds
Request a refund: your rights and the steps to take
A ticket for a leisure activity on a set date does not, in principle, carry a 14-day right of withdrawal, but this depends on the case and on the organizer's policy. A refund is due in particular in case of cancellation, double payment or technical error. You make the request from your order page; the contact form remains available if you run into difficulty.
When is a refund possible?
- Event cancelled: tickets are refunded (see event cancelled or postponed).
- Double payment or technical error: the amount charged in excess is refunded.
- Organizer's policy: some organizers accept cancellations up to a deadline. This policy is shown in the refund conditions on the event page, before purchase.
- No set date or period: for a ticket that is not tied to a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal may apply.
As a general rule, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities provided on a set date or period (Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code). This exception is assessed event by event; it is not a universal “non-refundable tickets” rule.
Make a request
- Open your order in My orders.
- In the refund section, choose the reason for your request, add a message if needed, then send it. Only one request at a time is possible per order.
- The organizer reviews the request according to their refund policy and replies by email: accepted, or refused with an explanation. ShotEvents may step in if there is a dispute.
- If the request is accepted, the refund is made to the original payment method and the tickets are invalidated; for a free order, the tickets are simply cancelled.
- If you run into difficulty (order not found, no reply), write to us using the contact form with your order number.
