For organizers
Create and publish an event step by step
The creation wizard guides you through nine steps, from description to publication. You can save at any time and pick up again later. A published event goes through a check before appearing in search.
The nine steps
- General: title, category, description, target audience.
- Date and venue: start and end dates, time zone, address. Times are always shown in the event's time zone.
- Visuals: cover image and thumbnail; add alternative text for people who can't see the image.
- Tickets and capacity: ticket types, prices (free is possible), quantities, sales dates, limit per order.
- Practical info: access, minimum age, accessibility, line-up, what is included.
- Promotion: promo codes, search tags.
- Terms and liability: refund policy, terms of sale, whether transfers are allowed.
- Preview: check the page as the public will see it, on mobile and desktop.
- Publication: the event is published or sent for moderation depending on the status of your account.
Setting your capacity
The total quantity across ticket types makes up your sellable capacity. Tickets being paid for are held during the reservation, so the same ticket can never be sold twice.
After publication
You track sales in the event dashboard. You can edit the practical info at any time; major changes (date, venue, price of tickets already sold) are subject to specific rules described in Cancel or postpone an event.
