For organizers

Cancel or postpone an event (organizers)

If you cancel, you set the event to “Cancelled”: sales are closed and buyers are informed; you then refund orders from your space. If you postpone, you enter the new date and a message; tickets remain valid. Let your attendees know as early as possible.

Cancel

  1. Open the event in your dashboard and choose cancellation. You are asked to confirm, because the action is final.
  2. Write a clear message for buyers: reason, refund, contact.
  3. Sales are closed and buyers are notified by email with your message. Tickets are not refunded automatically: refund each order afterwards from the event's “Orders” tab (“Refund” button). Tickets are invalidated when refunded.

Postpone

Set the event to “Postponed” and enter the new date as soon as it is known, with a message explaining what changes. Tickets already sold remain valid for the new date. State clearly whether you accept refunds for people who are unavailable, and until when.

Your obligations

  • inform buyers without delay, through the status message and by email;
  • refund the tickets of a cancelled event;
  • keep a record of your exchanges with buyers.
