ShotEvents

Accessibility statement

Translation provided for information only; the French version prevails. This document must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. No legal review has been recorded yet.

ShotEvents is committed to making its platform accessible to everyone, whatever their disability. This page describes the actual state of accessibility as of the date of the version. Online ticket sales are an e-commerce service subject to the accessibility requirements that have applied since 28 June 2025 (Articles L. 412-13 and D. 412-50 of the French Consumer Code, Directive (EU) 2019/882).

1.Compliance status and the publisher's situation

ShotEvents employs fewer than ten people and its annual turnover or balance sheet total does not exceed two million euros: it is exempt from the accessibility requirements (Article L. 412-13 of the French Consumer Code). It nevertheless endeavors to make the Platform accessible, through the measures below, and to aim for standard EN 301 549 (WCAG level AA criteria). This exemption does not apply to a business that exceeds these thresholds.

2.Measures implemented

  • “Skip to content” link at the start of the page.
  • Full keyboard navigation and a visible focus indicator.
  • Field labels associated with every form field, explicit error messages linked to the field, and prompts announced to assistive technologies.
  • Color contrasts designed to reach level AA; information is never conveyed by color alone.
  • Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on mobile; layout adapted from 360 pixels wide up to desktop.
  • Respect for the system's “reduce motion” preference.
  • Structured heading hierarchy, with a single level 1 heading per page.
  • Manual alternative (entering the code) to camera scanning for ticket checks.

3.Known limitations

  • Interactive maps (OpenStreetMap) are not fully usable with a keyboard or a screen reader; the address and a directions link are always provided as text.
  • Content entered by organizers (descriptions, images, alternative texts) may not be accessible; we ask for alternative text for cover images but cannot check everything they publish.
  • Automatic translations of events may contain errors.
  • The level of compliance of other providers' pages (payment hosted by Stripe) is the responsibility of those providers.

4.Reporting an accessibility problem

If you cannot access content or a service, contact us through the contact form (topic “Accessibility”) or at contact@shotevents.fr. Please give the address of the page, the problem you encountered and your assistive technology. We reply within 10 working days and, if necessary, offer an alternative (for example, sending the ticket through another channel).

5.Means of redress

If you find an accessibility problem that prevents you from accessing content or a feature, you have reported it to us, and you have not received a satisfactory response, you can write to the Défenseur des droits (the French Defender of Rights):

You can also contact the departmental directorate for the protection of the population (or for employment, labor and solidarity) or the competent DGCCRF (consumer protection authority) department. [to be verified: competent supervisory authority and up-to-date contact details]

6.Accessibility of events

The accessibility of venues and events (access for people with reduced mobility, accommodations) is provided by each organizer on the event page. If you have a specific need, contact the organizer before you buy.

7.How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on the basis of the internal checks available at the date of the version. It will be updated after each audit and whenever the Platform changes significantly.
